It took place in a grand mansion. Think Rochester's home in Jane Eyre or the Grand Hotel in Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka. There's this young girl who's forced into doing something she doesn't want to by a evil stepmother from Cinderella- esque figure. The part of the dream that particularly stands out takes place in the night. The girl is running down a vast hall. The stepmother is pursuing her. There are many rooms along this hall and these rooms have distinctly different ambiences. Then the stepmother opens the door to an important room. This room is very shadowed, but is lit with a subtle warm light on the far end. The decor of the room is pink, including a boudoir and a large ottoman. This room is incredibly eerie, and I got the notion that something evil happened in there. A murder, probably? Something that dramatically altered the life of the young girl? Anyway, then the stepmother faints.
